Description
Straddling the line between commercial success and steet credibility, Beyond 7 was formed from the ashes of 90's popsters Psychic Rain. Singer Greg Stoddard and guitarist Brian Stewart left the comfort of a major label to search for a fresh, exciting sound.
Add bassist Lenny Spickle and drummer Ruly Hinojosa to the mix and the radio-friendly tunes hit the listener as a cross between the alt/pop feel of Jimmy Eat World and the heartfelt appeal of Train and U2.
Stoddard and Stewart have had their songs featured in a Freddie Prinze, Jr. flick (Down to You (Miramax 2000)) and on tv's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Strong hooks, in your face guitars and on target lyrics make "Here and Now" by Beyond 7 a frontrunner for many "Top Albums of 2002" lists.
