Heather Pierson is a pianist, vocalist, percussionist, songwriter and owner of independent record label, Vessel Recordings, which has released 4 CDs to date and is receiving international distribution. Her latest release, "Between Lives", is a new-age collaboration with Alfred Lund of One Heart Drums in Winthrop, which FACE Magazine declared "transcends definitions like new age or world music... Lund and Pierson have created a work that is stirring and memorable."

Starting with her first piano at age 5, Heather Pierson has performed professionally for most of her life. Both solo and with an ensemble, Heather has toured across the United States and has shared the stage with such well-known artists as Paul Winter, Samite of Uganda, and made an appearance with rock superstar Meatloaf during his critically-acclaimed VH-1 Storytellers Tour. Having performed in many different venues, from classical recitals to coffeehouses, smoky bars to sacred ceremonies, Heather brings to her own original music her versatility and wide range of abilities and a unique sense of how to appeal to audiences of all ages.
Critics have raved about Heather's work, including Carl McColman of New Age Voice Magazine, who writes, "Pierson has a lovely and self-assured voice... [her] lyrics are positive, emphasizing qualities such as self respect, care for the environment, gratitude, and spiritual devotion." Her self-produced, independently-released recordings are drawing praise from all over, including from Kim White at Music Design, who writes that Heather's music is "very good and well-produced."
