Nobody's Perfect
Chris Doerman
Many "organic" elements of Rock and Blues come together, from driving acoustic guitars to droning B3 organs, funky electric pianos, and gritty electric guitar playing as well as mellower, more introspective acoustic music.

Description
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Like most Cincinnatians, I haven't moved out of the city... ever.
At the age of 11, I began playing guitar and writing music. Music has been a passion of mine ever since.
After graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 2000, I took a "real" job as a project manager at a local multimedia marketing company.
Since then, I have been (slowly) learning the ins and outs of recording music using my PC. Nearly three years after I recorded my first "keeper" track, I have completed my debut album, aptly titled Nobody's Perfect.
Along the way, I learned how to do pretty much every step necessary to complete an album, from arranging and performing with multiple instruments, to mixing and mastering, to ultimately designing the packaging for the album.
Nobody's Perfect combines many "organic" elements of Rock and Blues from driving acoustic guitars to droning B3 organs, funky electric pianos, and gritty electric guitar playing. Nobody's Perfect also features several mellower, more introspective songs focused on more delicate acoustic guitar and piano melodies. Most of the tracks also feature distinctive vocals that deliver twisted clichs, enigmatic observations, and heart-felt reflections.
This album was completely self-produced with little regard for its commercial success. Some would say this is a bad idea but I feel it is the most honest way to approach music. My goal is not to make money - I already have a job. My goal is to write and record music that is an honest expression of my thoughts and feelings.
I perform the majority of the instruments on Nobody's Perfect. Former Blessid Union of Souls drummer Eddie Hedges and local session bassist Adam Sanregret (The Tracy Walker Band) also contribute performances to the album.
This is it.
