Description
If you head out on highway 6 south thru Texas, before you know it you are going through the little town of Riesel, Texas. This is were it all began in the home of Pat & Aggie Howard. Music has always been around the Howard household. A friend of the family helped him get started, and soon he was playing back-up for Fiddlers at fiddle contests, entertaining the family and friends, and just sitting around the garage jamming with his friends.
Practicing on the guitar and working on his singing soon led to him occasionally getting called up to sing with a local Country band "Reunion". In 1989 at the age of 15 his love for music and performing for people made it easy to say yes when asked by "Reunion" to join the band. He played rhythm guitar and sang a few songs. He learned many things from playing with this band. He played with the band until mid 1992 when he decided to form his own band called "Rampage".
1992 is when it all began, the start of "Rampage". Rampage was a cover band that played all around Central Texas. In 2003 Shane decided that it was time to share his original music with others and began working on his CD. He wanted to move toward a role of letting people know who he was. This CD is the way Shane expresses his Country/Rock Influenced Texas Music.
