Birth and Rebirth, an extraordinary release into the world of religious music, is performed by Colindtorii, a group of eleven professional American singers from the Choral Arts Society of Washington, DC. This recording is a singularly unique exhibition of Romanian Christmas and Easter music.

100% of the proceeds from sales of Birth and Rebirth benefit a non-profit, private center for abandoned infants in Romania. Music director Larisa Lucaci-Vashee and her two daughters, Maya and Lina, volunteer their time each summer at this safe haven in Trgovite.
