Description
The candles have been lit, and you've finished your sumptuious eight course dinner. Full and happy you pat you tummy and walk into the living room. The kids settle down on the floor. The family congregates around the entertainment center. Dad pops in a CD, and in a few moments riotous laughter fills the room. Tears of laughter roll down Grandmas cheeks, and Uncle Morris is doubled over with belly laughs. Just what is the cause of this fun and frolic? Why it's Grandma Rita's latest Holiday CD.
"T'was the Night Before Chanukah",is based on the
Original Christmas story, only Rita gives her tale a "Jewish" twist. Instead of Reindeer named Rudolph,
Prancer and Dancer, Rita's names them Morty, Isaac, and Morris, and wait till you hear the name she gave Santa!
We've got Grandma, a nice elderly Jewish Lady who is always "Schnooring" in the kitchen. We find her always managing just another "little bite", ("One for them and
One for Me")while preparing tons of food for the guests.
We've got a jolly old man dressed in blue, with a blue Yarmulke on his head, who speaks with a heavy Jewish accent. You'll have to pay very good attention to understand what he says, but that's half the fun.
Now you've met a character or two in this tale, so come along and join us for the treat that is "The Night Before Chanukah". It's guaranteed to make you feel part of the family, and by the way, "Happy Holidays", to you and yours.
