Description
Sean Slaughter was born and raised in Queens, NY where he currently resides.
Son of Alvin and Gloria Slaughter, Sean was raised in a God fearing Christian household but never seemed to accept the Gospel that was presented to him.
He soon found himself tasting the fruits of the world at the age of 16 and by the time he graduated high school, he was a drunk, smoked drugs and was a thief with a felony on his record.
He received a full scholarship playing wide receiver at the University of Rhode Island.
He left his scholarship after two year to attend the Institute of Audio Research and become a secular producer/hip-hop artist.
After graduating in 1997, he began to travel on the road doing live sound for his father.
He still was nowhere close to being saved, but this job would soon effect him more than he would have thought.
In the year of 1999, Sean was facing major problems in his relationships with his family, his girlfriend and eventually, his own friends.
With a life or death situation on his hands, Sean prayed to the Lord that he would get deliver him from the mess he created, and God answered as he always does.
Now Sean takes his hip-hop music all over the world, speaking of the purpose God has for his young people.
He also gives some practical examples and situations that kids today can relate to and have a clear understanding of what God requires of them.
Sean's experience has allowed him to relate closely to the young people in the new millennium, because all kids are facing very similar and dangerous situations.
And if these things are not addressed, then that is a whole generation lost to the hands of the enemy.
