Description
Do I leap too high as I skip the dunes?
Do I reach too far? Do I love too soon?
Do I sing too much, like a mad cartoon?
Don't bother me; I'm chasing the moon.
"Chasing the Moon"
The music of Copia has elements of new age, reggae and southern rock.If you like Enya or Sara McLachlan, give Copia a try.
Vocalist Nora Hendrick, also of Ventura, lends her voice in an ethereal
performance that showcases an understated elegance and grace.
Intensely melodic songs are beautifully performed. "Plenty of
Heaven," has brought some listeners to tears, and "Indigo Child"
radiates pure joy.
Veteran music composer/producer Bradley Spurr has announced the release of "Copia," a new AAA (Adult Alternative) album of songs with new age and reggae influences.
Spurr, who resides in Ventura, CA has expanded on his previous
successful works (music for NBC's Leeza, Prema's "Ananda," and "You and I Are One") to include richly layered vocal arrangements.
Teaming up with lyricist Lori Williams of Los Angeles, the duo has
created compositions of music that engage the listener in a journey
through time, space and emotion.
Ricky Hirsch is featured on guitar. Hirsch has been inducted into the
Alabama Hall of Fame and has played with Cher, Wet Willie, Bonnie
Raitt, Billy Vera and the Beaters and The Greg Allman Band.
