Description
"Vlla I Vogel, Bot e Malle" is Albanian for "Little Brother, Big World." It is an ethnic Albanian work of art with a twist from every corner of the earth.
Jack's music is influenced first by God, and then many great musicians such as Mozart, Beethoven, Chuck Berry, B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Hendrix, Santana, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Janice Joplin, The Doors, Ozzy and a few unknown Albanian "ifteli" players.
The "ifteli" which you will hear on the album, is a small teardrop looking instrument with a long skinny neck and two strings. It may be tuned in 4ths, 5ths or according to the key of the song. The "ifteli" may be small but its sound pierces the universe and echoes a brilliant sound right back to your heart.
Most of the tracks in the album were recorded at home, except for the drums, bass and backup vocals that were recorded at the music room of "Holy Name of Jesus" church in Indialantic, FL. Jack is very thankful to "Holy Name of Jesus" for letting him use the room for the recordings.
