Digital Beat is a finnish electronic/techno musician from Oulu, Finland.
Hard Trance, Breaks, Industrial Breaks, Drum and Bass, Electronica, IDM and Oldschool. Underground electronic artist
from Finland. Composing tracks since 1990.
Digital Beat sound is full of driving filtered rhythms, loops and acid synthlines. The original sound of Digital Beat is influenced by oldskool acid, techno, electronica and even hip hop music. Digital Beat's first influences are Prodigy and Jean Michel Jarre. Also German electro group Kraftwerk is also a big innovator. The music is aimed mainly to the dancefloor but I have composed music also for computer games. Digital Beat produces mostly hard trance, hard dance, electronica and intelligent techno.
Musical influences/inspirations
Prodigy, Aphex Twins, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers,FSOL and Jean Michel Jarre.(also many others) I'm also influenced by movies, nature and weird sounds. I have been in the mp3 scene since year 2000.
