Description
Dry Rot is a collective of 4 heavy metal artists. Ron Langford put this band together from musicians he played with in other metal bands. Ron Langford has played with Execution in Missouri, Jaggernaut, Corrupted Filth and Decreation from Nevada City, CA. He is a Death metal vocalist/keyboardist with classical training and uses heavy bass sounds and samples in his keyboarding.
Andrew Grant is a long time speed metal guitarist from the Bay Area. He is classically trained and was in Corrupted Filth. He is an awesome guitarist who is heavily riff orientated. Jason Brehm is a death metal bass player who originally played with Mind Wake and Uncle Scam from Nevada City, Ca. He uses many scales and riffs in his intense bass lines. Justin "Russ" Carlson is a great metal drummer who has been involved with many projects ranging from Testament styled metal, all the way to Six Feet Under. A great fundamentalist with a sure tempo.
Dry Rot has focused on creating a new Death Metal sound that incorporates screaming/growling vocals with deep lyrics, wide ranges of sound effects, samples, and orchestrations, searing metal guitars and riff banging, scale moving bass lines with a steady, innovative, and thundering percussion line. Any Metal fan will be interested in hearing this album again and again.
