Description
Named after a Harlem nightclub of the early 1920's, The Garden of Joy is out to recreate the explosion of original emotion evoked by the likes of Mamie Smith (the first commercially recorded blues singer) , who played this nightclub with her band.
Sprung from steely guitars comes blends of oldtime stringbands through aeroplane droning loop de loops of melodramatic blues and blues busters.
A mood shifting avalanche of bouncing boulders.
