Description
Mr. Vivo showcases compositions, which combine Pedro Giraudo's loves of jazz and South American folk music. These compositions fill the ears with color, alternately intimate and exuberant, harmonically and rhythmically rich, yet completely accessible. In addition, they highlight the improvising talents of the young band of musicians that make up Mr. Vivo.
Originally from Cordoba Argentina, Pedro Giraudo moved to New York City in 1996. Since then he has become an in-demand bass player and arranger working in a great variety of musical projects. He has performed professionally with Bobby Sanabria, Pablo Ziegler, Marco Granados, William Cepeda, Manny Duran, and Guillermo Klein, Eternal Tango and recorded with Jose Halac, Francesca Ancarola, Fernando Oteros X-Tango, Jose Conde, Lucia Pulido, Marta Topferova, Mo'Guajiro & Jess Jurkovic. Pedro Giraudo has participated in various Jazz and Music Festivals throughout the United States, Europe, South America, the Caribbean and Asia.
Mr. Vivo was formed in April 2000 and since then participated in the 4th and 5th Jazz Festival at the Argentine Consulate and performed in Macau (China) at the Macau Cultural Center.
