Description

The Hot Rods debut CD was rife with controversy from day one; lawsuits were filed by The Rolling Stones, The Minutemen, Duane Eddy and the ACLU (to name a few). But nothing could hinder the momentum of LA's "illegitimate sons of The Blasters" in their creation of what is referred to by some as "the greatest debut album of all time."

A seething rendition of "Lil' Sue" sets the stage for the 16 song CD in which The Hot Rods pay homage to the past while affirming themselves as the future of rock and roll.

The Hot Rods are fronted by song writing prodigy Giovanni Pirozzi. On guitar, his bother Vincenzo adds color and spice to the rock solid foundation laid by Mikael Jacobson (bass) and Gregg Ginsburg (drums).
