Marissa Levy
Is it folk? Is it rock? Is it (G-d forbid) POP?.? Well it is Marissa Levy in her debut album. A fresh production of David Perlick Molinari's pop with Marissa's songs deeply rooted in old school folk creates a sound that is refreshingly unique.

Description
At 5'1" this young singer songwriter seems to be nothing but cute. And cute she is. But there's more! Born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, then transplanted into the mean streets of New York City, Marissa became a songwriter because she needed an outlet for her emotions and therapy was too expensive.
Her songs range from a hilarious obsessive song about down and out actor Robert Downey Jr., to a coy song about bedside manner. Heavily influenced by the folk singers that she truly believed were children's singers as a tot, and the modern "chick rock" music of today, Marissa has emerged with a sound that is truly her own. Her voice is sweet, but has an amazing presence and her songs have hooks that leave her audiences singing.
LookMaNoHands is the debut album from the singer/songwriter. It is chock full of songs she wrote during college which means they all have that, "oh my g-d, what am going to do with my life" kind of feel.
LookMaNoHands was produced and engineered by David Perlick Molinari (http://www.youtoocanwoo.com) and Mastered by Drew Lavyne (Elvis/JXL, Sting-Brand New Day, Santana-Supernatural, Dave Matthews Band-Before These Crowded Streets) of All Digital (http://www.alldigitalnyc.com). She is currently touring and promoting that album and trying to keep her head together.
