Paper Wings
Sean Bendickson
Acoustic-driven rock with an alt-country shade. Smart production, tasteful performance, but the songwriting is what carries the album.

Description
Sean lives in Seattle, but his roots are in Montana. Born and raised in Missoula, Sean puts a little bit of the Big Sky country into all of his music. This album is an honest collection of the sounds that have inspired him as a writer, both lyrically and sonically. The blend of guitar, harmonica, organ and subtle vocal harmony deliver this budding songwriter's debut album with an unlikely maturity.
And his singing/songwriting is just the tip of the iceberg. Although he plays numerous instruments, Sean's primary instrument is the drums. With an impressive resume, Sean has had the opportunity to play with some of the best players in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Most notable are his performances on Cake Records releases: On The Mend by Kym Tuvim, and When I Was Made by Edie Carey. His website contains his entire discography of projects he has played on.
And of course he utilizes his drumming skills on a good portion of the songs on Paper Wings as well.
This spring, Sean has been recruited to tour as the drummer for former Toad the Wet Sprocket lead singer, Glen Phillips in support of his newest release, Winter Pays For Summer.
