The Lascivious Biddies are an all-girl quartet consisting of:
Lee Ann Westover, vocals
Deidre Rodman, piano
Amanda Monaco, guitar
and Saskia Lane, bass
Their unconventional arrangements of original compositions and standards-to-be often include four-part harmonies and blur the line between jazz, pop and cabaret styles. The group brings their distinctive sound to as many different venues as they are able, including such venerable institutions as Joe's Pub (New York, NY), The Bluebird Cafe (Nashville, TN) and The Kennedy Center (Washington, DC). Rising stars of the many musical circuits, expect big things from The Biddies. Their genre-defying debut CD "Biddi-luxe!" was released to accolades on May 21, 2002, and Carnegie Hall has honored them with a place in their 2002-2003 Neighborhood Concert Series. In October 2004, they will release thier lush sophomore recording, "Get Lucky" - an extension of the unique poly-stylistic sound first heard on "Biddi-luxe!"
