Description
robert sloan mclaughlin is an 11-year veteran of the charlotte, nc music scene with such critically acclaimed bands as oddmann's attic, random ged, v. jedhi quintet, and d ohm randeji. a guitarist of 15 years, sloan made the switch to acoustic drums when he and longtime collaborator christopher howe holston reunited to form bullship. his simple yet creative beats are the mast upon which the mainsail of chris' guitar is raised, the disturbing force of the new sound called .wav.
christopher howe holston is an 11-year veteran of the charlotte, nc music scene with such well received bands as oddmann's attic, random ged, v. jedhi quintet, and d ohm randeji. a vocalist of 11 years, chris picked up the guitar at v. jedhi quintet's inception and never put it down. his understated yet elegant rhythms are the mainsail from which the boom of jason phillip michel's bass is suspended, the cascading crest that defines the new sound called .wav.
jason phillip michel is an 11-year veteran of the charlotte, nc music scene with such genre-defying acts as black plastic and the mcclintock gs, as well as his own largely electronic solo recordings and sound installations. a vocalist of 11 years, jason picked up the electric bass at the urging of his former roommate and longtime friend chris. his sparse, yet perfectly placed propagations are the boom upon which chris' mainsail is anchored, the trembling trough of the new sound called .wav.
bullship hearts information when it's music. let's go.
