Description
Case of the Mondays, a ska/punk band from Mt. Holly NJ, has been quickly emerging in the Philadelphia music scene. With catchy, radio-friendly music and clever lyrics, their songs have been drawing large crowds and a strong fan base to venues all over the south Jersey and Philly area.
Jim Haas, Bryan Rodier, and Dustin Dellinger have been playing together in several bands since 1996. In early 2002, they acquired front-man Jon Gray, and a few months later added saxophonist Brian Gannon. Case of the Mondays has packed places such as the Kyhber, Doc Watson's, and Brownies 23 East in Philadelphia. They have headlined on numerous occasions at the legendary Grape street Pub in Manyunk, PA. They also played all over the South Jersey area including Carollo's, Crossroads, Pitney Tavern, Stockton College, and the Grand Fromage in Atlantic City, NJ. Currently the band also has shows lined up at the Khyber and the Trocadero in Philadelphia.
Case of the Mondays released their first CD in February of 2004 entitled Best Served Chilled. The CD is getting airtime on such radio stations as Y100 and 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia, and 91.7 WLFR, Stockton College Radio. In April of 2004 they were asked to join the WMMR morning show for their anniversary party and played an entire set live on the air. They are now shopping around for record labels and they are looking to progress to larger venues and a broader fan base.
