Description
Nancy Gamso has performed as a flutist, clarinetist and woodwind specialist throughout the U.S., including solo, chamber and orchestral performances at the Lancaster and Sarasota Music Festivals, with the Columbus Symphony and the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra as well as for the CAPA Broadway series. Her passion is modern art music, especially that influenced by jazz, world and popular music.
Dr. Gamso holds music degrees from the University of Alabama, Florida State University and the University of North Texas.
Tracy Cowden is much sought after as a collaborative pianist throughout the U.S. and Canada, performing with the principal musicians of the Montreal, Vancouver and Boston Symphonies. As an enthusiastic chamber music player, Cowden has performed at the Fontana Festival of Art and Music and at the Yellow Barn Music School and Festival. Dr. Cowden holds music degrees from Western Michigan University and the Eastman School of Music.
Both Nancy Gamso and Tracy Cowden are professors of music at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.
