Description
"To creatively use her talent as an outlet for her faith," is one of the many ways to describe the beautiful Gina Green. Her smooth singing career has continued to scope new heights since the time she was a young adult. While performing during a Sunday offering at church, the late Mr. Reg Nice of the "GOGz God's Original Gangstas heard her angelic sound, and approached her with an offer to be a vocalist. She performed with the group live and in the studio.
After a year of reaching out to massive groups of people while performing with GOGz, Gina Green's career took an overwhelming leap as a solo artist. She was offered a one album contract with Grape Tree Records in 1996, in which she recorded the album titled, "In His Time." The record reached the ears of listeners throughout the United States and Europe, selling over 25,000 copies. During her time with Grape Tree Records, Gina Green toured extensively in support of her album, which covered youth events and church gatherings throughout the United States.
Gina Continued to perform throughout the years, and in 2001 she co-produced and self-released "Changes," an album filled with truth and guidance. Changes, is the product of the hard work and dedication her and husband/producer Isom Green released on their own label Ritestep Records. Utilizing a solid blend of Jazz, R&B, HipHop, and Smooth Gospel; Gina Green continues to embrace her talents, and progress through her faith in god.
Ritestep Records plans to release the new album by Gina Green, "Tell'um." Produced by Isom Green/I-Will Productions, "Tell'um" is a powerful rendition of truth and experience. In stores nationwide January 2005
