Description

Pianist Matt Clark, now dwelling in New York, reminds people of Wynton Kelly and Tommy Flanagan, but he has his own light touch and swinging style combined with virtuosity and improvisational genius. Clarinetist Richard Mathias and tenor and alto saxophonist Bruce Mishkit lend their creativity on half of the songs, while the world-class rhythm section of bassist John Shiflett and drummer David Rokeach add great color and never let the beat slacken.
