Description
RJ is the best kept secret in Sacramento California's underground rap scene. His lyrical ability allows him to complement any beat he rhymes over. With influences from various music genres, he and his beat producers create a hip hop sound far removed from typical radio rap music. As an opening act for artists such as Souls of Mischief and Masta Ace, he has dazzled crowds by manipulating syllables to ride beats while dropping dynamic lyrical content. With freestyling roots from 1991, RJ has since perfected his art, writing while performing with the hip hop band Bombin' The Area (a live song with the band is featured as the final song on the LP). The debut album Only A Matter of Moves puts RJ one step closer to his goal: love and respect from hip hop fans worldwide.
