Description
Sarah Cheevers - singer, songwriter, and guitarist
Sarah's voice and songwriting captivate her audiences with vivid imagery and humour. Her first CD, Entwined, was released eight months after her debut public performance at Vancouver's Railway Club in August 1999. She performed in 2001 at Vancouver's New Music West as a folk pop duo with Doug Deep as well as the electronica Elle'ectricity show at Sonar. Her song about September 11th was aired on CBC and performed at the Vancouver Art Gallery peace rally for thousands of people.
Sarah has regular gigs, performing in coffee shops, pubs and larger clubs. This last year she has also performed in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the UK. Sarah has more recently been performing as a duet and with her band.
Sarah's lyrics have caught the attention of CBC's Paul Grant ...
"I think she's going to make a pretty big splash in the Vancouver music scene and beyond as well (January 2001)".

In January 2001, Sarah was voted No.1 by fellow competitors on mp3.com's Compo Ten competition.
Sarah has also recently had the pleasure of recording with Kelly Joe Phelps, a beautiful songwriter and one of the best living slide guitarists.
Sarah is currently recording at Hipposonic Studios in Vancouver, B.C.
