Description
Wally "Sweet Daddy" Greaney formed his current band in 1990 and has nurtured a powerful chemistry with his talented band members. Fused by a driving unified force, this seasoned artist carries with him the influence and experience gained from working with blues giants like Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Kenny Johnson and Co.and Jaymoe from the "Allman Brothers."
Sweet Daddy Cool Breeze has opened for music legends like Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Koko Taylor, James Cotton, and far too many other acts to mention, and tours internationally as a headliner. Sweet Daddy Cool Breeze was back on an East Coast tour in Feb.& March of 2003. They also returned to Europe to tour in May & June 03.
Wally"Sweet Daddy"Greaney has also joined up with John Kay and Friends. John Kay, "founder and lead singer of the legendary rock band "Steppenwolf " "Born to be Wild" & "Magic Carpet Ride" has a solo career that shows his love for the old school blues and his powerful song writing. His latest solo CD is "Heretics & Privateers" on Cannonball Records.
John Kay & Friends performed a benefit concert for the Nashville Public Television that will be aired on P.B.S. stations around the country in 2004 Check out Steppenwolf.com for photos of the show at the Renaissance Center.
