Description
Born in Yarmouth, Maine, Thomas Snow has enjoyed a career filled with diversity and travel. After graduation from Yarmouth High School, Tom went on to Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating cum laude in 1991 with a degree in Music Education and Jazz Composition. Since college, Tom has had long-term engagements at the Mount Washington Grand Resort, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, The Balsams Grand Resort and The Ritz Carlton Resort at Amelia Island, Florida. Recent tours with noted Irish tenor John McNally have taken him to the U.S. Midwest, as well as Australia. Tom has recorded with numerous regional artists including Jim Jose, Every Sunday, Motor Booty Affair, Kate Schrock, Carol Jackson and Mark Kleinhaut. In addition to being a studio musician, he has two recordings as a leader: his debut CD Northern Standard Time (1997) and Christmas at Mast Cove (2001). Tom is currently a Lecturer in Music at Bates College in Lewiston and lives in Boston where he is studying with George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, and Danilo Perez.
