Deviants of Reality are a Hip Hop group based out Red Bank, N.J (the home town of movie Director Kevin Smith-Clerks,Jay and Silent Bob).
Their eclectic style has been compared to the Roots, Outkast, Jurassic 5, and A Tribe Called Quest.
The group is made up of DJ Alex J.,Udig The Mental and vocalist Robin Hyson.
Although they reside in New Jersey, the MCs are not native to the Jersey area. They are transplants from the Dirty South, South Carolina and Atlanta respectively.Producer DJ Alex J.has released several Dj mix Cd's in Europe and has a monthly residency in Stuttgart,Germany.
The group has performed all over the north east opening for such Major label acts like the Roots, G-love and the Special Sauce, and Slum Village.
Their Debut album "The Art of Mind Travel" was released in Europe and has sold over 8000 copies to date.They are currently touring in Europe.
