Description
When Kyle Addison appeared in New York City's premier venue the "Village Underground" in 2003 he was a newcomer and was received with open arms by NYC's finest musicians and songwriters. With deeply soulful vocals and a giant stage presence it was soon after during a performance in one of the city's most notable music venues "CBGB's", Anthony Krizan (Guitarist for the Spin Doctors and songwriter for Lenny Kravitz) approached Kyle to co-write and produce his next album, self-titled "Kyle Addison". Anthony brought into the studio and onto the stage, musicians who were evidently the perfect accompaniment to Kyle's powerful lyrics and soaring vocals. Keyboardists John Ginty (Whiskeytown, Jewel, Santana) and Rob Clores (Enrique Iglesias, Blues Traveler) Drummer Rob Garisto (Iggy Pop, Ryan Adams, Lou Reed) and Bassist John Pisano (The Ramones, Ryan Adams) along side Anthony's background vocals and thunderous guitar. Also on the album are bassist Jeff Pedraz (Pat Martino)Vocalist Sabrina Emille, Horns Vee Popat,James Antonucci,Joel Brooks and old friend guitarist and co-writer Matt Davis.
This CD is more than a departure from Kyle's debut album. It symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter in his life and music.
