Description
Miles of Empty is a Chicago born alternative rock trio, and although classified in this genre, the group is hardly typical of it. You don't have to dig deep to reveal the band's unique qualities, and simply listening to the CD or catching a live show will do that.
Miles of Empty's retains a sound all its own. The bands live sound is every bit as powerful and polished as its studio sound, and performing live is really where the band exceeds your expectations for a three-piece act. Fans will confirm, "you can't believe this much music comes from only three musicians!"
Miles of Empty formed in 2001 and is comprised of Mario Kaehn on vocals and guitar, James Kaehn on bass, and Carlo Cooper on drums. Answering an ad from a drummer looking for a "serious band", the Kaehns met up with Carlo. After two jam sessions, "we all decided this was a winning union," said James, and they formed an unknown, unnamed band. Miles of Empty is currently working on a new cd that will come out sometime in 2005.
