In addition, she co-starred on Broadway in "Take Me Along". She also starred regionally in "Brigadoon, The King and I, South Pacific, Finian's Rainbow and The Sound of Music. She has made innumerable on TV shows hosted by Bob Newhart, Jack Benny, Perry Como, and Ed Sullivan. She retired to raise a family and went on to receivea degree in drama from Dartmouth College in 1981. With her children now on their own, she has decided to resume her career.
These popular standards of Big Band style music from the 1950's have been digitally remastered from the original Bell Records Recordings maintained in Betty Johnson's private archives. It seems that good things just never grow old, they just age gracefuly and mellow with the years.
