Description
Be transported to a world of tranquility by listening to the captivating, sonorous tree frogs, found deep within the Virgin Islands National Park, as they sing throughout the night and into the dawn.
This nature sounds CD begins an hour before dawn, when the soundscape is dominated by numerous tiny tree frogs. As light approaches, distant birds awaken and greet us with their subtle songs.
If you have ever visited the Caribbean, the sound of a chorus of tree frogs will instantly return you to the warmth and serenity of these islands.
This is a continuous, hour-long recording, without pauses, and without added sounds to distract from these wonderful tree frogs. Excellent for relaxation, meditation, to go to sleep with, to wake up to. . . or to otherwise hide the distracting noises of what we call civilization. These nature sounds not only soothe us, but are also perfect to soothe pets -- especially when you must leave them alone.
Though there are ten named "tracks" on this CD, it is a single, continuous listening experience - without any pauses or interruptions. The songs of the tree frogs shift as the night progresses, and the tracks are simply to allow convenient selection of ten areas of the recording.
This is a direct-to-digital binaural recording, using microphones that mimic human ears. It was recorded by Ed Boakes, and engineer with over 18 years of experience working with voice and audio processing and holder of many patents.
This CD also comes with a free PC screen saver and wallpaper with 29 beautiful images from the Caribbean.
This CD was recorded on the island of St. John, in the US Virgin Islands. 27 of the 29 photos are also from the Virgin Islands. (The other two are from lovely Palm Island, located between Grenada and St. Vincent.)
