Effron White is a folk singer-songwriter from Fayetteville, Arkansas. The release of his second cd, "Yankee Dime", in 2004, coincides with his selection as a WINNER IN THE KERRVILLE FOLK FESTIVAL'S COMPETITION FOR EMERGING SONGWRITERS. The well-crafted tunes and performances on this cd attest to his ability to entertain and move audiences in a great variety of ways, through songs that range from traditional folk to rock to country. With a voice that explores emotions through gritty earthiness ala Tom Waits, Guy Clark, or Bob Dylan, Effron will speak to your heart and show you new ways to look at love and life.
