Description
Los Angeles three piece band (Redondo beach / Torrance ) formerly known as "the Greenhouse Effect' ...existed from approx; 1987 to 1992...released 6 tapes ...never signed..very original unique sounding band (and that was the problem)...not exactly punk rock or metal..yet completely both (One had to see this Incredible Little band Live to really get the whole Picture ,,,A video is available --).....not exactly blues or rock...will not be caught dead on a skateboard or trend or video game,....very cosmic almost psychedelic 60's 70's flavored sound...not trying to be cool or liked or hip ...but striving to be good and DIFFERENT --"weird" ....bassist Rick Carmody quit in 1992 to join the south bay punk rock band THE ONE HANDED READERS ...and this is the result ...drummer/ guitarist/ lead vocalist Clark Hagins ended up in the studio virtually all alone to play all instruments and pay all the money (Not a highly educated guy ..he mainly mowed lawns and did landscaping up in Bel Air) to release this final Ge cd...renamed after humiliating squabbles with local magazines...and just plain hateful dodginess...........enjoy ! ----1993 , 94
