Gazpacho
Imagine a cross between Radiohead, Placebo, Coldplay, Travis, Muse, Sigur Ros, Pink Floyd, etc... Perhaps one of the best unsigned bands that I have ever heard." (Kings of A&R Apr 2003)

Description
Their first album 'Bravo', debuted in 6th place in the indiecharts in Holland, playlisted in national radios in Norway and Holland. They have just launched their second album, 'When Earth Lets Go', some have claimed it to be an album with more edge, and rawer in nature than Bravo.
As reviewed by backstage magazine (May 2004)
"More than worthy follow-up
Gazpacho:
"When Earth Lets Go"
(Happy Thoughts)
Stars: 5
Last years album from Gazpacho was good. Stunningly good. I'd never expected quality to that extent when "Bravo" reached our offices last summer. Gazpacho was new, it was exciting, it was ... Gazpacho! As such I listed "Bravo" in my personal top five releases of last year, and raved to friends about it. Now the follow-up is here, titled "When earth lets go". The band continue in the same vein with harmonics and rock, with their own distinct character. But still without a record deal? Record companies in Norway; wake up!
After a funny little orchestral intro, we enter familiar Gazpacho territory. "Snowman" is introduced with a timeless, mystic and beautiful piano. It doesn't take long before you realize that Gazpacho once again has released a quality album. "Bravo's" unique sound is still present, the songs have soul and depth, and the band is on fire. "Put it on the air" contains harder riffs than anything on their debut. However, there's no point in talking about the qualities of each song, it's the whole that makes this band and this album special.
When you read this, they've played at Rockefeller as a support band for Marillion. I just hope that their performance on the night resulted in sales and further attention for one of Norway's best rock bands."
In support of their newest album, Gazpacho have just completed a 31 date support tour for Marillion on their European tour (2004) covering almost every country in Europe.
Producer Steve Lyon (Depeche Mode, The Cure) is currently together with Gazpacho to further their potential and is featured working with Gazpacho on 'Substitute for Murder'.
They've done this all by themselves (again..:-))
Music that was originally thought to be a niche in the market, has proved to have a universal appeal to many genres, all age groups of listeners and taking the world by storm. The fast growing fanbase appreciate that the next song is likely to be different from the last, that's what makes Gazpacho unique. They have continued this formula for their second album, where the songs take you on an adventure of emotions, and touches on many styles ranging from hard rock to pop.
'The next big thing' is often quoted by reviewers. Their growing, dedicated and loyal fan base would agree to that without hesitation.
