Description
Los Furios started out a 5 years ago as a three-piece hip hop/reggae band along the lines of Sublime under the moniker the Furios before expanding into a five-piece Reggae/Ska/Latin/Punk outfit "Los Furios", complete with trombone player (Latin sound system) Pedro Alfaro and Lead guitarist Malcolm Larmond, three years ago. Then two years ago adding the second horn player (trumpet) Chris Grigor.
The Fury sound system can start with a 45 min. set to a whopping 3 and a half hour set straight through. It's usually late and blurry when Los Furios try to leave the stage; the crowd is drunk and weaving and thirsty for more of the rhythm robust enough to get the blood pumping through their distressed livers. The sheer force of the audience's will has kept Los Furios on stage until they can't play any longer.
The band members, all of whom sing and contribute to the songwriting process, write with their audience in mind, ditching the two-tone, suit- wearing, 2/4-beat ska rulebook and playing what they think will keep listeners engaged.
Los Furios hail from Canada and are the lastest members added to the Megalith family. If you're in the mood for some good feet moving dance beats, then grab yourself a copy of this disc!
