while the songs have been recorded many times, Alan's fresh arrangements and excellent solos makes them very listenable and timeless. Some of the songs are performed as fairly standard arrangements while others have been given a different twist. Angel Eyes is done in a funky style with an excellent piano solo, That's All is done at a fast tempo with some great organ playing by Alan. Falling in love is done in three four time and Stella by starlight is performed by a trio without drums.If you like this style of music I hope you enjoy this album.
