Description
Spase - The infinite extension of the three-dimensional region in which all matter exists
Tyme - A nonspatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.
Joshua, aka J Kanizzle, was the founder, host, and executive producer of the first nationwide conscious/progressive/underground hip hop radio show, Subsoniq on XM Satellite Radio's college station, XMU. While living in DC upstairs from the now infamous Yogi Records open mic nights, he made a name for himself as being quite the slam poet and for having the best stoop to drink Heini double deuces on in the district. After himself and his co-hosts of Subsoniq, DJ Boom and Orbit 122, exited XM for bigger and better things, he moved out to Cali, where he had the oppurtunity to share the stage with the Pharcyde, KRS-One, Murs, the Limbz, Brother Ali, Addict Merchants, and many others. After years of honing his skillz, both on the mic and behind the producers desk, he finally moved back to his home of Ohio and brings his first work to the world, Spase & Tyme, Stealing the Past EP...which is really just a small taste of what is to come. Featuring collabos with Face (3LG, Infinite Loop), D-Menace (Undabos Familia), DJ Boom (Listen Vision, Muzik Fiendz), Killa K, Jammaj, Hossanna, + Whateva.
Stealing The Past is a collection of music put together by: childhood friends, revolutionaries, freedom fighters, rappers, rockers, industry cohorts, and yo mama. Part spoken word, part avante garde hip hop, purely from the heart, it's sure to change many a fans mind as to what exactly 'hip hop' iz.
Following up this release will be Spase & Tyme, the Album....featuring appearances by Kankick (lootpack), Face (3LG), DJ Boom(muzik fiendz), Powersun(Darkleaf), Danja Mouf(Supafriendz), Boogieman Ghost, Rasi Caprice, Pasha the eMCee, D Menace (undaboss familia), & more. Stay tuned world.......
