Description
Barbara performs regularly in Colorado and has played in master classes and recitals in Austria and Italy. She grew up in Osnabrock, North Dakota where she began taking piano lessons from her uncle at age 5. She played for school and church activities until she went to college to major in music.
Barbara currently teaches piano and voice in Monument, Colorado and is keyboardist for a local church. She takes piano lessons from Sara McDaniel and voice lessons from Lila Mori and enjoys being coached by visiting artists. She is active in both the local and state music teacher's associations.
Barb spent her last seven years in the Corporate world as Regional Director of Human Resources for Pepsi-Cola before returning to her first love - creating and teaching music. Her B.S. degree is in business administration and she holds an MBA in Communications. Barb has three children and one grand child living in the Denver, Colorado area.
