Description
From 1978 to 1985 Donnybrook Fair were the darlings of the Irish club scene in the states. From the Pig and Whistle in New York to the Patriot Game in California, from the Irish Village in Chicago, the Blarney Stone in Pittsburgh, The Irish American Club of Detroit, McCaffertys in St. Paul and countless clubs ,pubs and festivals in between.
For ten years the lads traveled across the USA doling out their particular brand of Irish folk music. Kevin McKrell, David McDonnell and Jeff Strange combined strong and imaginative instrumentation with powerful and stunning vocals. This CD " Tunnel Tigers " documents the music of those years.
