Raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Karen Daniel has written songs since the age of 14. Best known for her upbeat, very singable songs, at her live concerts she performs a mix of folk, Jewish, Hebrew, traditional and original songs. Her songs are known and performed in synagogues and churches around the country.
Karen plays and writes by ear, and has a natural, gentle, warm singing style. Inspired by her own life experiences and children, her songs describe the Jewish traditions and themes, and are well-liked by listeners of every faith and age group.
