Description

We all have a fantasy of escaping to a tropical island. Lingering cold northern nights can lead us to visions of warm sultry breezes and sand beneath our feet. A dull routine can have us longing for carefree days and a visit to another reality. Key West singer/ songwriter Lenore Troia gives us the chance to live that dream in the lyrics and music she creates.

Sometimes sensual, sometimes humorous, her songs beckon us to playful and exotic places. It's a musical landscape away from the real world; a trip to paradise if only for a moment in time.

Troia's stories are told in her melodies sitting atop a well-crafted hybrid of rhythms. Smooth vocals and keyboard versatility highlight diverse arrangements mixing pop, jazz, rock, calypso and reggae into a unique brand of sound.

The success of her first self produced CD Jetset to Sunset led to continued musical accomplish-ments. Followed by Fishin' You Were Here, Wild Island Night and a holiday album called, Mistletoe Island Magic Lenore has been operating her own independent label, SeaQuence, as well as fulfilling a full time performance schedule.

Expanded from her classically trained roots, she works as an electronic musician. Her personal studio centers around a computer based canvas incorporating an array of synthesizers and sampled sounds.

Considered by many to be Troia's finest CD to date is her latest release Sand Dancing. (January 2002) This highly inspired collection of songs takes listeners further into Lenore's captivating getaway journey.
