Description
Mr.Jesse Willingham organized th Golden Aires in 1961. This makes The Golden Aires one of Cincinnati, Ohio's oldest Gospel group.
With God in control and the signing with Cincinnati,s own King's Recording Studio got them on the way.
In 1970 The Golden Aires signed with (H.S.E.) Hoyt Sullivan to a National record contract.
The hit single "I Come A Long Way," held #1 on the National Charts for 15 weeks.
The 70's brought the Group even more success with such hits as; " Keep Walking By Faith," and " Going To The End," and in the 80's " Peace In The Valley," and " Looking For A Man," kept the group in the Charts.
The 90's saw a change in the group, when lead guitarist and tenor singer, Charles O.Collier, took the helm as Group Leader. Charles has been with The Golden Aires for 25 years and Charles has heighten the group image with his singing/songwriting experience.
