"This is so good! Incredible sound, and mixing..and I cried when the vocals came in... this is "Dead Can Dance + Sarah Brigtman. I will be listening out for more... how can I not" May be this words of a listener are the best description of the stunning and heart-wrenching music by Origen
***** "Ave Maria" by J.Caccini (1550-1618) is one of the earliest and beautiful version of this chant. (J.Caccini also known as creator of one of the first Italian opera "Evredica" in 1601).
***** "When I heard for the first time Ave Maria by Caccini I could not believe it was composed 400 years ago. Great and absolutely contemporary music and I think it is the best "Ave Maria" ever composed."
***** F.Shubert composed his masterpiece in 1825 on the bank of romantic Lake Traunzee in the Austrian Alps. It was written for N.Volf-fascinating 17 years old soprano. The original version was in German. So we sing it as in Latin and also in German.
***** In 1853 Ch.Gounod made variation on the 1st prelude of Bach's "Well-tempered Clavier", Originally it was "Meditation sur le premier Prelude de Piano de JS Bach" for violin and piano. Later in 1859 the words of "Ave Maria" were added.
***** "AVE MARIA XXI CENTURY" is the newest version of this chant. It was composed on April 2002 by A.Zakharenko (creator of "Anthology of Sacred Music" www.cdbaby.com/anthology and ORIGEN www.cdbaby.com/origens). You are the very first listeners of this piece.
**** French composer and organist, professor of Paris Conservatory C.Franck (1822-1890), was outstanding representative of romantic school. I don't now why but now he is undeservedly forgotten. Please listen to this prelude and change your mind about this great composer.
