Description

A Former music teacher, Susan Bardsley now spends her time writing music and performing -- not a bad gig!! She is co-founder, composer, and music director of the popular StoryBook Theater, which produces original musicals for 3 to 9 year-olds and their families. Based in Kirkland, Washington, the professional company, now entering its 5th season, delights over 40,000 people a year.

In addition to her work with StoryBook Theater, Susan continues to compose sacred songs which are sung throughout the area. Her sacred music reflects her eclectic musical background -- some gospel here, some folk here, and a lot of musical theatre thrown in for good measure. These lovely songs are of the heart and speak directly to the heart of the listener.
