Janice Trytten (Sunflower), from Norman, Oklahoma, is a Native Flute, professional French Horn, auxilliary percussion, keyboard and fiddle player, harmony and lead vocalist, and composer in Cincinnati, OH.
As a reenactor in the fur-trade era she brings an authenticity derived from study and tremendous respect for the music and culture of the Native Peoples. The music is straight from the heart.
