Description

Born in Oakland CA, Tom Allen started his musical training at the age of 5. He was in his first band as a lead guitarist at the age of 7 and toured California in an all child rock band. As he grew he also mastered keyboards and drums. He worked as an instructor at a local music store at the age of 11 and played club and medium venues sometimes not disclosing his young age and let the guitar speak for him.

Tom founded the band Fusion in 1972 which became Hanje in 1976. Hanje played throughout the western states mostly as an opening act and mid-sized venue headliners until 1984. Bay Area fans will remember his lightning fast and tasty guitar licks.

Since then, Tom has maintained recording projects for film and video. Inundated with requests for a solo release over the years, Tom felt it was time to release his first solo work with the appropriately named album, "Finally" and plays all instruments and vocals on the album.

Tom lives in the Northern Oregon mountains, and is working on his 2nd album , "Fearless" which is due Jan 2004.
