Description
Ben Trexel is a composer, producer, and guitarist based in Birmingham, Alabama. Over the past five years, Trexel has released two successful instrumental solo albums, played over 450 shows, and produced albums for other emerging artists including Ken Johnson, Carlos Platon, Ned Mudd, Big Talk, and The Stewart Mayfield Project. He also co-produced Live in The X-Lounge, Volumes I and II, which were local radio sponsored live albums and included Matchbox 20, Train, Sister Hazel, Fuel, Edwin McCain, and Tonic. Trexel is now working on his third instrumental album, following up Wearing A Groove (1997), and Under The Radar (2000), rehearsing for showcases as bassist for the Ken Johnson band, and actively co-writing with several other artists. Songs from Wearing a Groove and Under the Radar have appeared in three New Line Cinema films worldwide as well as been featured on television shows such as Access Hollywood, E's Wild On series, Extra: Entertainment, The National Enquirer, Fox Sports South (Hockey), Playboy Channel, ABC Promos (All My Children, Monday Night Football, Primetime Live, One Life to Live, The View, The Practice, Good Morning America, LPGA Tour Championship, World News Tonight).
