Description
The core of Violet Fane consists of singer Nadine Henry and songwriter/guitarist Steve Baker (your humble reporter). We were fortunate to have many talented,local players help us with the CD. We all hail from suburban Boston, Ma. This is our debut album. After writing and performing original music throughout the Boston area for the past seven years,we decided to make our music tangible so our fans (and soon to be fans) could take it home. Nadine is a postal worker and the song "21st Century P.O. Blues" has been wildly popular among not only her co- workers, but by enthusiastic music lovers of that noble profession throughout the country, as evidenced by the fan e- mail we've received from visitors to this very site.
The music on this disc is acoustic based and lyrical. We were very diligent in making sure that the songs breathed and conveyed the feelings we got when they were written. We hope you enjoy it!
