Description
Americana Indie rock songwriter chad bishop released Isabella V in the fall of 2004, now with a strong and energetic band backing him (CB Radio). Chad Bishop and CB Radio plan to tour the western united states as well as scandanavia in the summer of 2005, in support of their debut release.
The lush arrangements includes violin, piano, organ, saxophone and flute. The songs on the album "Isabella V" appear to address an individual's modern dilemna, how does one escape the fractured and compartmentalized lifestyle dictated by the postmodern wasteland in hopes of discovering selfhood. the strong melodic sense of each songs belies a hopefuliness that is uniqueness in comparison to much of the fatalistic fodder found throughout popular music today.
CB Radio is in studio now working on a doulbe disc follow up to their debut album "Isabella V". The next album promises to show the ever evoling sound of the band as well the strong song writing of Chad Bishop.
