Songs From Shannon
Leslie Braly
Various musical genres it might easily slip into. It is country and folk, rock and bluegrass. There's even a little hint of Texas swing. Sweet americana.

Description
Leslie Braly, a native Alabamian (who currently resides in Seattle, Washington), was born in Mobile and grew up in Birmingham. A ten-year veteran of the Birmingham music scene, Leslie most recently fronted the four-piece, country-rocking bar band, Mary Jo's Daughter--performing covers along the lines of Emmylou Harris, Gram Parsons, Steve Earle and Lucinda Williams. A favorite among locals but ready to break away from the cover band routine, Leslie enlisted the help of fellow Birmingham musician Rick Lovelady, formed backing band The Golden Mile, and headed into the studio. The result is Songs From Shannon, the thirteen song, self-penned independent debut release by Leslie Braly and her band The Golden Mile.
